We have a request regarding vehicle traffic on the Kurobishi Forest Road for guests using the Kurobishi No. 3 Pair Lift.

The Kurobishi Forest Road—which stretches approximately 6 km from the upper part of the Wadano district in Hakuba Village to the Kurobishi Parking Lot—is extremely narrow, and there are sections where it is difficult for vehicles larger than medium-sized vehicles (such as minibuses) to pass each other or make turns. There have been incidents in the past involving collisions between vehicles and vehicles becoming stuck.

To ensure safety, please refrain from using the Kurobishi Forest Road with vehicles larger than medium-sized vehicles (such as minibuses) and instead use the Alpine Line via the “Adam” gondola.

Additionally, large vehicles, such as construction vehicles, may be traveling on the Kurobishi Forest Road. Even when driving a standard passenger car, please slow down sufficiently when passing oncoming traffic and proceed only after confirming it is safe to do so.
