Notice Regarding Access to Kurobishi Forest Road

Kurobishi Forest Road will be closed to all traffic, including pedestrians, throughout June in preparation for the opening of the Kurobishi Line. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
The road will reopen on July 1 with the start of Kurobishi Line operations. However, from July through September, demolition work at the Meiji University Mountain Lodge will result in frequent traffic by large construction vehicles, including dump trucks.
As the forest road is narrow, please use extra caution when driving or walking, as passing oncoming vehicles may be difficult.
In recent years, bear sightings have increased in the area. If you are walking on the forest road, please carry a bear bell or another noise-making device and stay alert at all times.

Please Note:
The section of Kurobishi Forest Road from the Skyline lift station to Usagidaira is closed to both vehicles and pedestrians. This area is part of the natural habitat of wild animals. For your safety, please do not enter this restricted area.
