The 80th Happo Riesen Slalom Competition will be held on Thursday, February 26, and Friday, February 27, 2026.

To ensure the safety of the competition course, the Riesen Slalom course will be closed starting from 8:00 AM on Wednesday, February 25 (the day before the event). Detour routes will be available during this time. We apologize for the inconvenience to our general guests and appreciate your kind understanding.

Red Line: Competition Course　　　Blue Line: Open Skiing Course
※Please note: There are points where the competition course and open courses intersect. For your safety, please follow the instructions of the staff when crossing.

◎ Important Notice for Competitors
Due to low snow coverage on the Nakiyama Slope, the finish line has been moved to the lower part of the Usuba Slope.
The opening ceremony will start at 8:30 AM near the finish line at lower Usuba Slope.
Finisher certificates and beverages will be available in front of the Nakiyama Ski School. Please stop by after your run.
Also, there are patches of thin or missing snow at the bottom of the Nakiyama Slope. Please ski with extreme caution in these areas.

The awards ceremonies will be held at the following times. Please gather in front of the Nakiyama Ski School.

◆ Information for Registered Participants ◆

1. Shipping of Bibs (Number Cloths)
Your race bibs will be sent out on Monday, February 9, via “Letter Pack Plus” (Japan Post). Please remember to bring your bib with you on the day of the competition.

2. Delivery Details
Since “Letter Pack Plus” requires a signature upon delivery, please contact your local post office if you have not received your package within a few days of the shipping date.
