Karuizawa Primo Pizza & Pasta (Usagidaira Terrace 1F)
Italian restaurant serving hot iron plate pizza and authentic pasta is a long-established in Karuizawa. The 30cm diameter pizza is served on a hot iron plate, which is perfect for cold ski resorts. Pizza using “Nakano no Kirameki” apples (produced in Nakano City, Nagano Prefecture), which have red flesh, is also very popular. Unusually for a ski resort, there are sofa seats where you can relax and enjoy your meal.

HAPPO USAGIDAIRA CAFE (Usagidaira Terrace 1F)
Located at mid-station just by the exit of the Gondola.
Before you start your ski session on the slopes, stop by for a freshly grounded cup of cafe latte or mocha. A vriety of breads and sweets biscuits are prepared if you skipped breakfast or are in need of a delicious snack.

This is a coffee stand of Il Barre Pietre Preziosi, an authentic Italian bar in Hiroo, Tokyo.
The Italian coffee brewed by the staff, who are licensed baristas certified by the Japan Barista Association, is excellent. The most popular menu is the chocolata from Torino, Italy! Why not try it with homemade Italian-style baked sweets? Also, the hot panino baked in a special toaster is just what you need when you are hungry.
