Happo ski season officially closed 7th May 2017.*白馬八方尾根雪場2017年營業正式結束於5月7日!

Hakuba Happo-one ski season winter & spring officially closed 7th May 2017. Thank you to all for visiting Happo this season.
The slow start to the season, had some of us concerned that a repeat of 2015-2016 season could occur, however, that wasn’t the case.
An overnight powder storm dumped over a meter of snow in the alpine area above 1,800 meters and Happo groomers compacted 60cm on the evening of 7th December 2016.
Heavy, continuous deep powder days had us smiling day after day. This little snow village was the center of attention in January, with the FREERIDE HAKUBA qualifier attracting world class skiers and riders from Europe, America, Canada and Japan. Then again in March, we hosted the IVSI Snow Instructors Congress, uniting 15 countries sharing the snowsports spirit.
On the slopes, our mountain operations crew worked tirelessly to maintain and prepare perfect pistes for all abilities.
Most visitors to Hakuba don’t quite realize that the average snowfall in a season is over 12 meters with even more snow off piste in the back country.

Hakuba is amazing, even now the remaining snowfall on the upper slopes and in the national parklands exceeds a meter.
From  the end of March until May we continued to keep the Snow Rafting Park, fat bikes, snow shoe & sled area open.
Kitaone Kogen Highland & Usagidaira slopes situated above the village at around 1,000 meters plus attracted many visitors from South East Asia, East Asia.
In particular, visitors from Thailand, Vietnam & Taiwan enjoyed the area「YUKI-ASOBI Snow Playland 」exclusively prepared for beginners and those with no snow experience.
